Our journey began with an act of faith in 2015. An American businessman, traveling through Africa, crossed paths with a Zimbabwean pastor who tirelessly served the poorest in his community. Moved by the pastor’s work, the businessman handed over the cash in his pocket. That moment marked the first step on our divinely inspired journey.
From those humble beginnings, God’s work multiplied. Preschools were established, hungry souls found nourishment, individuals experienced miraculous healing, and many came to know salvation through Jesus Christ. By 2022, the work had grown so considerably that our team felt a clear call to organize as a US 501(c)3 nonprofit – Uncommon Path™.
At the heart of our Uncommon Path™ lay Matthew 7:14: “For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” We walk this narrow path alongside the Holy Spirit, supporting individuals in marginalized areas to discover true hope, purpose, and eternal life found only in Jesus Christ.
Our missional vision is encapsulated in our slogan: Step Into Miracle™. We connect people praying for a miracle—whether it’s for surgery, a school uniform, seeds to plant a garden, tuition fees, or a bicycle with those who are financially able to fulfill that prayer.
